What We Believe

Our Vision

We live to know Him and make Him known.
Matthew 6:33

Our Fundamental Beliefs

The Bible

We believe the Bible is the inspired and only infallible, authoritative written Word of God.
(2 Tim. 3:16)

The Trinity

We believe there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
(Matt. 28:19, Col. 2:9)

Jesus Christ

We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ; His virgin birth; His sinless life; His miracles; His vicarious and atoning death; His bodily resurrection; His ascension to the right hand of the Father; and His bodily, future return to this earth to rule in power and glory to rule a thousand years.
(Luke 1:26-31, 1 Thes. 4:13-18)

Eternal Life

We believe in the resurrection of the saved and the lost, the one to everlasting life and the other to everlasting damnation.
(2 Thes. 1:5-9, Rom. 6:23)

The Baptism of the Holy Spirit

We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit, as evidenced by speaking in tongues and that the manifestation of the gifts of the Spirit, is available to believers who ask God for it.
(Acts 2:4; I Cor 12: 4-11)

Forgiveness

We believe the only means of being cleansed from sin is through repentance and faith in the precious blood of Christ.
(Heb. 9:22)

The New Birth

We believe regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential for personal salvation.
(John 3:7)

Health

We believe the redemptive work of Christ on the cross provides healing of the human body in answer to believing prayer.
(Matt. 8:7)

Sanctification

We believe in the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a holy life.
(1 Thes. 5:23)

Biblical Marriage

We believe in unconditional love for everyone while remaining unwavering in our loyalty to God’s Holy word. We believe that because God our Creator established marriage as a sacred institution between one man and one woman, the idea that marriage is a covenant only between one man and one woman has been the traditional definition of marriage for all of human history ("Traditional Definition of Marriage").
Matthew 19:4-6

Our Core Values

Excellence

Give Your Best
(Colossians 3:23)

We owe God nothing less than our best. Every task and opportunity we are given we steward with excellence and do it unto the Lord.

Generosity

No limit
(2 Corinthians 9:11-12)

God freely gave to us, so in turn we give to others. Our generosity is one of our biggest tools to display the goodness of God! Our time, talent and treasure are a testimony of God’s faithfulness.

Joy

Our Strength
(Psalm 16:11)

In His presence is fullness of joy! Our situations and circumstances cannot affect the joy the Lord has given us through salvation. There is no greater joy than being in the will of God. The joy of the Lord is our strength!

Forgiveness

It’s Vital
(Colossians 3:13)

We are quick to forgive because the Lord forgave us, and He gave us a commandment to forgive others. Forgiveness brings freedom and guards our hearts from offense.

Teachable

Feedback
(Proverbs 10:17)

We are teachable. We are always striving to learn and grow into Christian maturity. Pride has no foothold in our life. We believe healthy feedback is a two-way street. We welcome opportunities to hear what is on your heart and commit to clarifying what is in ours.

Honor

We Elevate
(Romans 12:10)

We honor God and people. The supernatural is unlocked when we place value and honor on those who are in our lives. We treat all people with respect and honor.

Holiness

Set Apart
(1 Peter 1:15-16)

We want to be holy because our God is holy. We are in a lifelong pursuit of becoming Christlike. Righteousness is our free from God. Holiness is OUR response to HIS righteousness.

Health

Priority
(2 Peter 1:3)

Everything we need is found in Him. How we treat and lead others is a direct reflection of our relationship with God. We prioritize our relationship with God daily so that it brings health to every area in our life.

Stewards

It’s not ours
(Luke 16:10)

We are faithful to use our God given talents and abilities to honor God. Everything we do; relationships, ministry, work and play should bring God honor and glory.

Our Unique
Characteristics

God’s Word (2 Tim. 3:16-17)

The Bible is the living, breathing Word of God. It is the foundation of every service, event, or class we offer. It is the baseline of everything we do as a church body. The Word, not culture, sets the standard in our services.

Presence Driven (Exodus 33:14-15)

The presence and direction of the Holy Spirit goes before us and leads us in everything we do. We surrender everything to Him.

Equip Leaders (Romans 5:17)

We build Christian leaders that set the standard for culture in any environment. Whether on a job site, business meeting, or in the classroom, we aspire to be the salt and light that preserves and illuminates godliness everywhere we go. We are a church for men and women who want to “Reign in life through the one Jesus Christ.”

Standards of
Leadership

Daily Encounters (Psalm 1:2)

We set aside time daily to meet with the Creator of the universe. We seek to know Him more intimately every day. Our delight is in knowing God.

Servants (Matthew 20:28)

We operate through servant-leadership. No one is above performing a task. This church has and will continue to be built by chair stackers. Serving is the highest form of leadership.

Unity (Ephesians 4:2-6)

Favor is established through unity. As leaders we strive to be in unity with the Holy Spirit and others. We have healthy communication and lean into hard conversations so that unity is is found.

Tithe (Malachi 3:8-10)

We believe in the tithe. We believe that the tithe is a holy and tangible way we can honor God. We are good stewards of the tithe and our finances.

Sabbath (Ezekiel 20:12)

We are committed to honor the Sabbath. We set apart one day a week and keep it holy unto the Lord. The Sabbath was created for us to rest, heal and hear from God.

Problem Solvers (James 1:5)

We are solution minded leaders. We seek council in the Holy Spirit for direction in wisdom. We offer solutions rather than complain about problems.
